Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing (MI) approaches can be easily implemented by any level of professional! MI techniques are proven to enhance client outcomes, as well as worker satisfaction in all settings! DMS utilizes motivational interviewing, neuropsychology and other theoretical frameworks to introduce and enhance skills to assess, engage, and support participants. Workshop attendants learn how to care for themselves while applying MI approaches that work. DMS specializes in customizing workshops. Workshops are offered in 1 or 2 full-day formats. At the end of the 2-day workshop series, attendants are typically able to understand Motivational Interviewing theory; assess readiness for change; and apply the Essential MI Principles in work with clients.
